Stay at the top of your profession. NDUCFA offers an annual tree care conference and several other workshops throughout the year.
Additionally, NDUCFA is the local affiliate of the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), one of the leading arborists’ organizations in the world. NDUCFA frequently holds a series of study sessions for those wishing to take the ISA Certified Arborist exam.

NDUCFA Code of Ethics
To further the science and practice of professional arboriculture by subscribing to and maintaining high ethical standards among the members.
To stimulate great public interest on the planting and preservation of shade and ornamental trees.
To encourage the practice of urban forestry in the state of North Dakota.
To promote public education to develop greater appreciation for the value of arboricultural practices.
To encourage legislation and all fields allied to urban forestry to adopt policies conducive to urban forestry goals.
Membership Categories
1. Regular Membership:
Any individual appointed or hired full or part-time by any governmental organization actively performing urban and community forestry activities, including administration, research and education; and individuals, either actively or not actively engaged in the practice of urban and community forestry, whose associated profession or interest supports the purposes of the association.
2. Affiliate Membership:
Individuals or firms who manufacture of supply products utilized in the practice of arboriculture or who reside outside the State of North Dakota and who, by the affiliation, wish to support the association.
3. Student Membership:
Students enrolled in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Forestry, Landscape Architecture, or other related fields as determined by approval of the regular membership.
